The Adolescent Kit for Expression and Innovation is a field package with guidance, tools and supplies for youth engagement and development, tested throughout Asian and African countries in places affected by conflict and crises. The challenge was to create a visual language that could be used as an effective method of communication no matter what the level of education. The result is an extensive set of custom iconography denoting a range of complex concepts from emotions, to physical items and assigned tasks. This unifrom and consistent set is the kit’s main visual hook, applied extensively across reports and other toolkit collateral.
